FIFA 16 Italian cover star revealed

Inter striker, Mauro Icardi joins Leo Messi on the upcoming FIFA 16 cover in Italy.

Mauro Emanuel Icardi Rivero is an Argentine striker who plays for Inter Milan. He shared Serie A’s top goalscorer accolade with Hellas Verona man Luca Toni last season, netting 22 goals.

The Argentine will feature on Italy’s version of FIFA 16, which is going to launch on September 24. Besides him is national compatriot Lionel Messi, who is a regular feature on the front cover.

“I’m proud to be on the cover of FIFA 16, alongside Lionel Messi, my teammate and friend,” said Icardi. “I love playing FIFA with my teammates and family, and to be on the cover of FIFA 16 is a really exciting experience.”

FIFA 16 will be on sale on 22nd September, the landing platforms are PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
