David Alaba features on FIFA 16 cover of Austria

FC Bayern’s defender, David Alaba is the cover star for FIFA 16 in Austria. Together with Leo Messi, Alaba features on FIFA 16 Cover (Austrian version), which will be on the stores at September 24.

Alaba holds Austria’s record that the youngest player to play for their senior national team in 2009 as his 17-year-old. He played for Austria at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level. With a young age, he made many contributions. For example, at the age of just 19, Alaba won the prestigious vote for Austrian Footballer in 2011. In December 2012, he received the award for the second consecutive year.

Actually, it is the fourth time in a row that Alaba is on the FIFA cover. The 23 year-old young man will grace the cover wearing his Bayern’s team kit and will share the spotlight with global cover athlete, Lionel Messi.

FIFA 16 will be on sale on 22nd September, the landing platforms are PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
